Forums - Nintendo - Your Virtual Console wishlist

All the games I'd like on the Virtual Console (UN Squadron, Mischief Makers, Harvest Moon 64, etc) I just went out and bought on their actual consoles. The VC is essentially dead due to WiiWare and even if the Virtual Console did pick up, the chances of one of the games I wanted coming out are slim.

In the end, to actually get the games you want, you need to buy them and not hope Virtual Console (or XBLA or PSN or any other service) will someday put them up for download on the cheap. If you want to go down that road....there's the 'alternative' service through PC.

This is the point of a wishlist.

If I want to be literal I would like Nintendo kick off the next generation with full libraries of past titles from as many publishers as are willing to support them, and do not hold back.

This is about what I'd like to see.

Incidentally I also want to see Mischief Makers, I never got to play that.

I want it as much as you do, but it's never coming.

Do we actually know this? I've heard the rumor floating around, but as far as I can tell that's really all it is: a rumor. I'd add that it also smells faintly of BS, and by "faintly" I mean "holy moly!"

For that reason, I vote Earthbound. Ogre Battle 64 is my runner-up though. For third place I'd love Mystical Ninja starring Goemon. $70 was a bit too steep for this humorous Zelda clone, but $10 would be a steal. Plus, it was hilarious!

It's largely speculation, yeah, but it's at least educated speculation coming from Tomato, and it makes a lot of sense. More, it helps ease the pain of it being unreleased.

I have to get another copy of Ogre Battle 64 unless I want to take mine from my home in Louisiana. That might crush my little brother - I may end up getting him a copy anyway.

Super Mario Kart

Then I'll be fully happy with what's available, save for SSB's North America release.

I more or less would like Bomberman 64. I really miss that game ;_;

Ogre Battle 64 and Donkey Kong 64 would also be nice.

What I really (reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally) want, and know I am never going to get, is GoldenEye and Perfect Dark with IR pointer controls. I would kill for that. It's a shame I'm never going to see it.
