I love them.
"If you've stuck with us this long and not simply rushed out to buy it (which we suggest you do before the weekend is out), then you should have the distinct impression that it's the kind of must-have game that has Game of the Year contender written all over it. There's so much we haven't even talked about, that's the crazy thing, 3000 words in. The prospect of things like Vampire hunting (or, even being a vampire) is just the stuff of gaming legend, or being the ultimate warrior or assassin for hire. Frankly, there's way too much stuff to talk about in the confines of a review - it's one of those games you've got to experience for yourself." 10/10

Which game?

I've heard others say the same.
I'm surprised, I thought the game in that review would get like a 7 from them. I felt the biggest problem with it was that you could do everything in one playthrough- be the Archmage and the Listener, the Grey Fox and the Fighter's Guild Champion, the Champion of Cyrodiil and Madness Lord, a mass murderer and a Knight of the Nine.

Interesting point. I never much thought of it that way. I guess I kind of 'split my imagination' sort of, separate them into different stories in my mind, or maybe a combination of just a couple (champion + Fighter's guild). Anyway, it's a rational criticism u have but this never bothered me. If it was another game though, I might be freaked out and cry 'unrealistic!', if you could do all that in the same adventure.
You've heard others say the same about what, btw?

Not that I didn't like Oblivion, of course. It's one of my favourite PS3 games, I thought it was immersive, had tons of value and was overall brilliant. I just saw that one major flaw with the premise of the game. Ignoring, of course, little things like the AI. Also, I felt it was a little bit...overdone, the whole game. For example, the weapon vendors. Did you ever actually buy a weapon from a vendor? Because in all my playtime from level 1 to 27, I didn't. I also never bought any armour.
And for all of your love of Oblivion, you don't recognise that line?
"I saw a mudcrab the other day. Nasty creatures"
"I've heard others say the same"
or
"How are you?"
"I've heard others say the same"
It's one of the very common lines in Oblivion, as well as the mudcrab one and Daedra worship in the Summerset Isles, which one of the Daedra worshippers (I think it was Clavicus Vile) was very worried about. That's the AI thing I was talking about. But it's harmless, and amusing. Like how the beggars suddenly get posh accents when you ask them about "rumours".
