^ And for the 360, But both are a little trickier to mod.
So buy a Wii. You aren't teaching Nintendo any lesson by not buying one, they don't care. You are however depriving yourself of games that you love and for what reason?
Furthermore if you are going to restrict yourself to sytems developed by companies with a squeaky clean track record, you better take up marbles.
They raped your fields and pillaged your women and forced fed your kids popcorn?
With "greedy, selfish tactics" I guess you refer to Nintendo punishing developers who developed games for more than Nintendo's console? Don't know if that was Japan only or worldwide though.

Today I went to a friend's house and played my all-time favorite game. This is an old Turbografx/Duo game called Y's Book I&II. I'd have to say playing that game brought back wonderful memories. It is just to damn bad that ages ago Nintendo used such greedy, selfish tactics against their compitition that I can not allow myself to pay for a Wii. Does anyone know if Y's was ever released for any of the Playstation systems? I have an original 60 gig ps3. |
...are you serious?
Please go find me a copy of Ys Book 1&2 so I may play it.
Oh wait, you first need to find me a TurboCD or Turbo Duo. T_T; OH GOLLY
Wait, Nintendo is offering the game? How much did you say? Eight dollars? THATS SOOOOOO EXPENSIVE COMPARED TO FINDING THE GAME AND CONSOLE.

And you know, there is a DS and PSP remake.
OP:
You should pick up the PC remakes of the first two games--there are English patches out there and it's amazing fun (naturally).
You don't allow yourself to buy a Nintendo console because of their developer limitations in the early nineties but you're fine with owning the console that has never been any more original than a teen horror movie.
There are much better reasons to not own a Wii than that..
