I don't understand why people say this. Uncharted 2 is nothing like Gears of War. Gears is a huge guy slowly jogging around and shooting aliens with a massive gun. Uncharted is a fortune hunter taking cover and doing acrobatics, while stylishly taking out human enemies.

playing through the game for the second time now after beating it on hard. i'm trying crushing and i'm about half way through it again and loving every minute of it.

hands down this is the best game i've ever played and any comparison with another game other than Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is laughable because this game blows everything else out of the water so high they'll be floating in space.

This game is soooo god damn good it doesn't make sense. How is this possible? How can it be so creative and gripping, so entertaining and exciting. Lots of Hilarious lol moments and lots of holy shit omfg moments.
All other games, I couldn't care less if any of my friends died. Most other games, I'm the one who killed them. Took my crowbar and butchered them into little jiblets for the lulz.

But this game? I just want to be polite and knock guards out, put them in a sleeper hold. Press triangle to say hello to people and shake their hands. Pet a yak! Havn't enjoyed a single player experience this much since ... well, since ocarina of time I guess?

update after 67 review U2 falls to 96. but yet to receive a score lower then 90.

hope so to one of the best games i ever played

Since everyone is having a love-in for this game, I'll dampen the mood and highlight somethings that nagged me.

I guess I was WAY TOO hyped for this game because after finishing it, parts were underwhelming (Story not gameplay) I much prefer the story for Uncharted 1, this one felt a little laboured and incoherent at times and just seemed to go on a little too long.

As for gameplay, excellent, except for the platforming aspect which unlike part 1 was a little more frustrating as it wasn't always clear where you were meant to go or what you were meant to do. I know you could press up after a while to find out where to go but even that didn't always tell you how to get where you were meant to.

Lastly once in a while, the game confuses some button presses in the wrong places, e.g one time it asked me to mash circle to push a cart, I pressed it and ended up forward rolling over a cliff ¬_¬
