IMHO, i can see the ps3 decreasing the GAP a lot...

Uncharted 2 Among Thieves (this one will be highly advertised) + Ratchet And Clank A Crack In Time + FFXIII JP Exclusive (Best place) + (IF) GT5 EU&NA = A LOT.

U2 = 100k + Normal HW (WW)
R&C = 50k + Normal HW (WW)
FFXIII = 100K-150K + Normal HW (JP)
GT5 = 150K-200K + Normal HW (WW)

+ Multiplatform games with Bundle:

NFS:S = 10K-20K + Normal HW (EU Only?)
AC:2 = 25K-30K + Normal HW (EU Only?)
Fifa 10 = 25k + Normal HW (UK Only?)

+ Multiplatform games without bundles (ie. MW2) and low advertised games such as NGS2,Demon's Souls,Eyepet,Singstar.

Seriously though. 360 is very close already to PS3 numbers in America again. Europe is a way off. But the new Forza 3 bundle will seriously move consoles.  How is yet to be seen, but I say 360 will outsell in all regions except for Japan as of October 22nd. It may even be on top in America in 2 weeks time looking at this weeks figures.

What I cant wait for is the release weeks figures of Natal+360 package. I reckon with Natal releasing holiday 2010, 360 will outsell both Wii and PS3 for the rest of the gen in all regions. Japan is all over Natal like a rash. Remeber I made that prediction a year in advance.

There's a WHOLE lot more to it than that, from marketing, to brand recognition, to release window.  Hell, the only new system selling franchise created this gen on the ps3/360 is Gears of War, and it was an amazing new IP released under very unique conditions.

Many people have been waiting for GT5 for ages to pick up a PS3. With alot of advertising showcasing the new graphics engine, Forza 3 can steal alot of those fed up gamers. I guess we will see, but Forza 3 I believe will sell 2- 3 millon more than Forza 2. It's all about temptation. In reality GT5 likely will see light in America and EU holiday 2010. It's only announced for Japan in March. Sony missed the ball this holiday with GT5.

Japanese developers are all over Natal. That doesn't mean the Japanese consumer is. Heck, these devs could be all over it because they're confident about what they can do with it in the West.

And you're REALLY setting yourself up for a fall if you think Forza 3 will sell 6-7 million. Forza 2 hit 4mil and ~50% of that was from strong bundling. I don't think the general public have been following all the Forza 3 graphics threads as much as you think...

but the people waiting for GT5 and knows about forza 3 it's like the 15% of the GT5 possible sales =/... i don't think that forza 3 could sell more than 5M LTD. Also let's not forget that F2 was heavily advertised too.

with the MW2 "situation" i think that the ps3 will be a lot better than with COD4 & will be close to the 360 sales in the time that MW2 comes out.

in the natal subject, i don't think it'll be a system seller, not that much as you think, if the system is not supported with good games since launch and with a good price, the sales will NOT be higher than now.

Don't forget the MGS4 360 port which released in August 2009.
