The real reason is as its not fair to cut any match short, for all you know, the region of the world where Sega has most of his VGC friends in might be like sleeping ATM & they'll all be awake in 12 hours

some of us will REALLy not be able to vote.....12 hours is too less technically.

If the thread goes up at say 6 in the morning for UK people. A random VGC user int he UK wakes up & goes to work/school ......comes back & logs in at say 7 or 6:30......then he's missed the thread!
