1. Gran Turismo 5 is only 65% according to PD so theoretically it should get 35% better. Forza is probably done or almost done
2. What the hell site is destructoid? I've never gone there before. If it was a gamespot or IGN article I'd be more influenced

Think you need to read it again because i can't see that in there but i saw

Never in my life have i seen a bunch of people felt so threatened by what someone has said on a website.....Seriously who gives a fook if GT5 does not live up to the hype? It is not the end of the world is it. Every series has a game that is not as good as a previous version. We still play them!

The OP clearly states GT controls is lean more toward realisitc than arcade which means it is more realisitc. People going 100+ mph around a curve flying off the track sounds more realistic as well and not the superglue tires of Need for Speed series. GT is suppose to be a driving sims of many cars that you can buy at a car lot.
I think what everyone should take from this is that they basically said this, and I am paraphrasing: "While we preferred Forza 3, you will LOVE either of these games." So why scream about it?
I also think it's impossible to live up to the expectations of GT5. There was a thread title right here on VGchartz that said something along the lines of "GT5 rivals reality!". Impossible standards. Now don't get me wrong, PS3 players will love the game, but it will not meet those standards.
