Yup - a good choice.  Basically, this December I think Sony has their first real chance to appeal well to the broader market that invested in PS2 previously.  Show the wands even though they're not out yet, push titles like R&C, Eyepet, etc.

I don't know why people complain about the release date.

The game is only 65% finished. and I'd rather get a full game later than getting a half-missing game now.

besides, I guess the graphics and gameplay will increase by far when its completed.

I just want October 6th to come. Demon's Souls is the only game I care about this season other than Ratchet and Clank.

It's very easy.  People complains because they (we) rather get the full game now than getting the full game later.

Very disappointing, yet at the same time I think the actual fans of GT (not me, I suck at racing) should be glad as Sony decided to release the game when they feel confident with it, instead of when it make the most sense business wise.
