It's pretty much already met that mark, and november/december are obviously the two biggest months for game sales, or sales of any sort for that matter.

Sony just announced a price cut that brings the game to under $50. That should help sales, especially now when the christmas shopping seasoni s begining. If we're already over a mil, then maybe the TC's prediction will come true.

Sony didn't "announce" that cut.
Amazon reduced the price independently.

It's funny how the game has blown past every prediction in this thread and we still got other threads saying the sales are disappointing.
Darth went annoyingly pessimistic.
I'm not sure whether it was because his confidence was crushed after Sony's tough times in late 2008, or because he's trying to seem non-partisan.

Looks good for 2 million by the end of the year to my eyes. The numbers are going in the right direction, and the word-of-mouth for the game is rightly very, very positive.
