When call of duty starts getting cold in sales, i'm sure infinity ward will have to branch out. Hopefully MW2 will be a great game and justify the attention the sereies gets

I'm afraid they will need to find new publisher then becouse i don't see activision stopping to milk CoD series for next few years.

It is entirely possible they will make a game not in the CoD series. Pity it'll be eactly the same as all the games they've already made

I can't help but feel Infinity Ward will end up like Neversoft. Activision will run their one successful IP into the ground, and then force them to work on some other successful IP purchased from somewhere else after the original IP begins to falter.

Remember the days when Tony Hawk was hot shit? THPS3 sold something like 6 million between platforms and has a 97 average on Metacritic. I played that game to death.
