Nintendo will release their Mario games (Olympics ,Galaxy ,Kart and Brawl ) and have their big holiday success .Then for 2008 they dont have nothing at all .
I dont know if the Wii is a fad or not ,but whats clear is that its not a very good video game console .
As for PS3 it has some solid games this fall as Ratchet and Clank ,Unreal 3 ,Haze ,Assasins Creed ,Uncharted ,Pro Evolution Soccer ,Singstar ,Orange Box ,Gran Turismo Prologue,Stranglehold ,Oblivion GOTY ,NBA 2K ,NHL ,NHL2K .. etc ...plus a already solid lineup that Wii doesnt have .Ps3 ,no matter how this hurts some people feelings ,will gain ground with the time and not the reverse .Wii we will have to see ,maybe it will turn into a niche system for phisic exercise and gun games but it is just to weak hardware wise to turn into the next standar.I would bet with anyone that the developers wont throw by the window all their expensive technology and development teams and tools just to turn them to develop some Wii minigames . |
I don't know if Brain Training actually trains your brain or not, but it looks like you could use some brain training regardless. The Wii has nothing for 08? The sequels to the 2 best selling GC games (Brawl and Kart) are both in 08... People, for the last time: Listing 4 games on a system you don't own then all the games you can think of on the system you do own makes you look like an idiot. That sounds harsh, but it's true and it's for your benefit to stop doing it. I'm trying to help you Diomedes, but as long as you (or leo-j, or Soriku, or anyone else who makes those lists) does that it will only make YOU look ignorant. |
Poor nintendo fanboys ,you played too much brain training and now you believe that you are smart .Why should I train my brain ,just to agree with the likes as you and Neo ?Dont be ridiculous ,that would be a lobotomy more like . Now maybe I am a big ignorant of all those dozens of big budget Wii games we just dont hear about whenever a new game is announced .After the various Marios come out (and with them Nights in january ) in the first months of 08 I would like to hear from you ,Nintendo savant ,wich games are scheduled for the Wii .Because what I see when a company announces one games is "due to 360 and PS3 " .....look at games as Fallout 3 ,GTAIV ,Pandora the Box ,Fracture ,Prototype ,the science fiction horror game from EA ,Silent Hill 5 ,Borderlands etc etc .All is announced for PS3 and 360 ,nearly anything for the Wii save some low budget compensatory games (as Soul Calibur legends to name one). Now enlighten us and thell us all those dozens of games that will cover the space of all the high budget quality games that are being produced as we speak for PS3/360/PC and wont appear ever on Wii . |
NiGHTS is an 07 title. Again, don't talk about systems you know nothing about. In 2008 the Wii has these first party games announced: Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Kirby, Wii Fit, a Camelot RPG, Super Mario Stadium Baseball, and Wii Music. There are also numerous Wii Ware games announced or in Production such as Pokemon Farm and Doctor Mario. Third party games (that look good) that are announced include: Harvest Moon: Tree of Peace, Rune Factory Wii, Oboro Murasama, King's Story, Monster Lab, No More Heroes, Monster Hunter 3, We Love Golf, Civilization Revolution, Star Wars: Force Unleashed, Space Station Tycoon, Tales of Symphonia: KoR, Sword of Legendia, De Blob, Brave, Blocks, and Final Fantasy CC:TCB. There are also a lot of Wii Ware games announced, but I'm bored of listing games.
This is all on a system that was expected to flop and flop hard by 3rd parties. I don't think the Wii has the best 08 lineup, but the fact that it's even reasonably decent on a system that was doomed by every financial anlyst in existence before the generation started shows it's certainly not in trouble. We also haven't even hit the time of year when most game announcements are delivered (Q1 08). The DS had crappy 3rd party support for the first couple years too, but look at it now. Not to mention the Wii has yet to deliver any kind of pricedrop.
