Id say less than MGS4 WW On PS3 but both consoles combined will be greater.(BTW no matter what anyone says FF12 was horrible.)

My expectations for FF13 are very high I know, many people have told me that.

I agree they are......its more of a hope really. If everything goes perfectly well it could do those sales though.

I don't FFXIII will do that much on the 360. In Europe alone, it will be heavily favored on PS3. I see it doing maybe 3mill on the 360, but not near 5 million.

 

PS3 - 5.75mill

360 - 3mill

3 million?  sounds too high for me.

japan 0 + europe 1 million + US 2 million?

i think the majority of RPG lovers will own both PS3 and X360 by the time FFXIII released in the west, and I doubt they will pick up the X360 version.

 

my prediction:

PS3: 4-4.5 million

X360: 1.5-2 million

FFXIII will sell ~6 million worldwide and PS3 version will outsell X360 version at 2:1 to 3:1 ration.

i am sorry but the latest sales figures for TOV for ps3 actually sold MORE tha the xbox 360 version did, which only proves that jrpg do not sell on xbox360, the ps3 version will crush the xbox 360 version sales wise period / end rant

Obviously it will sell more. In Japan it will atleast double MGS4 and outsell it comfortable in both Americas and Others. More popular game and much bigger userbase. No brainer. Anyone who believes it won't outsell FF12 should well think again.

I'll put it at a conservative 7.5 mill lifetime.

The game will push close to 500k PS3 hardware sales on launch day in Japan, if only because the Sony brand is directly relatable to the Final Fantasy series.

2 million launch in Japan

500k launch in the States

A little less in Europe.

I would love for the game to do even better, but the truth of the matter is, most RPG fans have switched their desired system to the DS. "Shrug".

This doesnt make any sense at all. Famitsu expect 1.5M LTD in Japan and you say it will reach 2 million at launch? Plus your 500K PS3 hardware sales on launch day is totally delusionnal.
