I'll put it at a conservative 7.5 mill lifetime.

The game will push close to 500k PS3 hardware sales on launch day in Japan, if only because the Sony brand is directly relatable to the Final Fantasy series.

2 million launch in Japan

500k launch in the States

A little less in Europe.

I would love for the game to do even better, but the truth of the matter is, most RPG fans have switched their desired system to the DS. "Shrug".

This doesnt make any sense at all. Famitsu expect 1.5M LTD in Japan and you say it will reach 2 million at launch? Plus your 500K PS3 hardware sales on launch day is totally delusionnal.
