Heh, makes it better for me and my family when we get one, i told my mom and dad to hold off on the buy because from what PS3 and 360 Elite just did, Not even Nintendo can ignore that kinda power-jump, so hopfully this is true, because if not... >:)

Well, the Nintendo price cut broke less than two weeks before it was going to happen and only in the last day or so (less than 10 days out) was there an overwhelming body of evidence that it is not a fake.

I doubt Wii sales have been depressed because people were waiting for price cut (or a new model with WSR included).

Next week for $250 you can get a Wii with Sports and buy WSR for WM+. That should be a new SKU.

two week price drop info in advance. That was definitely a mistake.

wii sales will go down next week by a good margin. If it doesn't, it proves that only non-gamers buy it :P

Yeap It's pretty real.
Wii is gonna see a nice hardware boost and will most likely surpass PS3 for weekly sales.

I got quite a few friends who were waiting for the price drop, and a few waiting for the black Wii.
At least they'll get one of their wishes.
