Be consistent. Try your bst to review a game as if your review exists in a vacuum. Do not look at others scores from other sites.

Could you tell that to the VGC review staff?

I mean seriously, as you are a man of influence. VGC reviews suffer from this problem, especially as they come out so late after the game in question is released.

They're late because VGChartz reviewers don't get advance copies. They buy it retail, and considering that they may only have a few hours to play that game a day, you shouldn't be too shocked. They're bound to see reviews of the game.

Kimi wa ne tashika ni ano toki watashi no soba ni ita

Itsudatte itsudatte itsudatte

Sugu yoko de waratteita

Nakushitemo torimodosu kimi wo

I will never leave you

congratulations

Congrats!

It's just that simple.

Congrats.

Don't look at reviews from other sites.

U mean u are just temproarliy on the Philpines doing business, but the magazine is English/worldwide or something?

We're here for business, the magazine is local only, though it is in English. 95% of the population over here speaks English.

My only experience with your reviews is when you "reviewed inFamous" (the demo, and claimed it was the full game).

Please don't write crap like that in a magazine.

that wasn't a review. the thread title was "impressions" from a rental. i know the difference between a review and an impression. i'll dig up the thread for you so that you'll see.

anyway, here's a review of mine for Empire: Total War. I'm digging through my posts..

Good luck, I hope you guys get review copies, those are always fun. Beyond that just try to look at a game objectively and then be true to yourself about how each component works together. Objectively you may see that a game suffers from framerate issues, but it's your decision how much this affected the overall experience of the game. Also I would reconsider the term replay value since some games are not designed around that ideal but instead just giving you a great experience once for as long as possible (JRPG's in particular)

It wasn't a rental, bugrimmar, it was a demo. Dig up that post and I'll tell you how I know that.
