Weren't they also the ones that reported that Sony was buying Square Enix?

Wonder if it'd be an RPG. Or a SRPG, since all those crazy crossover games seem to end up as SRPGS... like the 50 billion Super Robot games we can't get in english because of the many liscenses... well and us not knowing like 80% of them.

 And MHF2 ruined Capcom , and they had to sell 50% of their titles for EA games ...

DQ sales are good , no matter on what will it apear ... 

 It didn't RUIN Capcom but for some reason they weren't impressed by it's sales (even though it sold really well). For a mass market product, Crisis Core seems to be what SE fans wanted from a game so you'd think that the game would have sold better then a DQ spinoff game given that so many people are in love with FF7.

I think it wouldn't matter what system SE puts it's games on, they'll sell well.  I believe that SE's marketshare has been dropping though.  They've been releasing more and more RPG's but each game seems to get a little less sales then the last one.  So they are hitting with numbers of games made but losing in other areas.  This is why SE needed to move out of it's safe zone and find alternative ways to make their games more appealing (the North American developer partnership stuff).

Hmmm.... don't think it'll happen but if it did it would probably sell alot of PSP'S.

That would be good for Sony. Don't think it would help for all the other software devlopers though.

doesnt matter if DQ IX will ported to psp or not, even if its true it'll be more than a year away before SE going to release it on the psp.

and I'm sure the game experience will not be much different between the two version. Its a RPG game you dont really get much of enhanced experience from DS's dual screen or touch screen. Many of the current games from SE dont take much specially enhancement from dual screen or touch screen, all it does is move the character and show the world map.

one more thing every developer only want money, if SE can sell another million copy of DQ IX on psp, I dont see why SE will not port the game there. its easy money for them, unless SE have an exclusive contract deal with nintendo to prevent it appearing on systems that dont carry the nintendo brand

when the DS dragon quests sell like 4 million each in japan alone, and when Crisis core fails to break 1.5 mill in Japan we'll c if DQ IX still stays on the POOSPéR(PSP- Fonejacker style)
