Rumor: New SE RPG for the DS, Dragon Quest IX for PSP

Seriously, DQ IX on the PSP would be just suicide, the game sells in Japan only and DS sales there are three times the sales of the PSP.

And MHF2 ruined Capcom , and they had to sell 50% of their titles for EA games ...

 

DQ sales are good , no matter on what will it apear ...

 It didn't RUIN Capcom but for some reason they weren't impressed by it's sales (even though it sold really well). For a mass market product, Crisis Core seems to be what SE fans wanted from a game so you'd think that the game would have sold better then a DQ spinoff game given that so many people are in love with FF7.

I think it wouldn't matter what system SE puts it's games on, they'll sell well.  I believe that SE's marketshare has been dropping though.  They've been releasing more and more RPG's but each game seems to get a little less sales then the last one.  So they are hitting with numbers of games made but losing in other areas.  This is why SE needed to move out of it's safe zone and find alternative ways to make their games more appealing (the North American developer partnership stuff).
