Forums - Sony - SONYs Motion Wand Updated Video

It looks like WiiMotion +, only (maybe) a bit more accurate and definatly more responsive. Since it uses the camera to track movement, theres no need for physical components like gyros, so theres no need to (re)calibrate.

I wonder how long the batteries/charge will last with the "wand". I dont know a lot about this, but the light produced on the end of it should drain quite a bit.

Very good.

Also, at the end of the video he mentions "analogue".

PS motes have analogue... confirmed?

they confirmed that about 2 days after E3

Then why the hell do i still see people talking about a lack of analogue stick

No idea how I managed to double post with such a delayed time difference.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

Ok it works, i get it.

How about a trailer of upcoming games using this tec?

Why release a trailer now when TGS is like... a week away?

Did he just say that they are close to the final design? o_o; Is the final design going to look like that? D: C'mon, they can do a bit better with the design. =/ I don't want to look like... Harry Potter from the year 3000 with a shiny wand like that.

Like they said though.. These videos are just to show the techs and show what you can do with the wand. And that they look forward to see what types of games all the great developer can come up with.

The thing i feel is good about this, is that it seems lika a smooth and a "pick up and play" kind of device.

But i still think that this and Natal will be more money spent, than money earned.
