The smaller european sales tend to be hard to track, many Wii games continue to sell a few hundreds/thousands units each week for a long, long time (and often at full price, too), but nobody knows the exact numbers, not even VGC...
Of course, it doesn't mean Metroid Prime Trilogy, The Conduit, No More Heroes, HOTD Overkill, Little King's Story, OKami or MadWorld have suddenly sold more than 500k in Europe, but the numbers may be way better than it seems at first look...

No, Europe just buys mini games. Just look at Cursed Mountain sales for example. Clearly, Europe is no good for niche games.

I don't think so: the sales of HOTD Overkill were stronger in Europe, and there are many other examples... the european market, in general, is now the most important market around the globe: more sales, and more profit margins for all the editors out there...
As you speak about Cursed Mountain: the sales are really low everywhere, and once again, for lower sales, it's really hard to track here in Europe... but taking this example to claim european Wii owners "just buy mini games" is... silly? Yeah, i think it's the right word...
Europeans are like most other gamers around the world: they won't spend 50 euros (75 dollars) on every B-rated game out there... Cursed Mountain is typically the kind of game you rent, or you buy for 20-30 euros...
If you want to take good examples, at least choose AAA 3rd party efforts on Wii: and in now 3 years, there's maybe what? A handful of these?
Blame the 3rd parties, and not the european gamers, that would be my message...

I would love if this game got 500k lifetime since it deserves millions in my opinion. Simply a phenomenal experience that still has me in the death grip. Cannot stop playing this gem.

I am disappointed.
Clearly, you have not done your homework. Look at the sales of Cursed Mountain in Others vs. U.S. and then come back here and present me a viable argument.

Apparently, Muramasa: The Demon Blade sold 35.000+ according to leaked NPD numbers. That's 35.000+ in 5 weeks, while VGChartz has it at around 80.000 in 5 weeks. It seems VGChartz overtracked this game quite a bit.
