Once Square-Enix sees how well Star Ocean and Final Fantasy sells on the PS3 they won't be able to resist porting DQX.

You can also thank the PS Wand because that'll be another reason to port Dragon Quest X over to the PS3.

When I saw that it wasn't, my first impulse was to report it for having a misleading title.

Anyway I disagree, and the wand won't do anything. DQX won't make much use of motion controls.

This is why they ported it to Xbox 360 as well. If Monster Hunter was coming to PS3, it would have been announced a year and a half ago. Square also will break the record on DSs with DQ9, Wii may be higher.

I don't think so. If SE was using your logic, they would put it on the DS. Also the Wii is more than sufficient. Look at the sales of Dragon Quest Swords in Japan. Nothing other than Mh3, and MGS4 have matched it and it is a Spinoff. Having said all of that, I could see DQ10 moving to next generation consoles as the highest chance of them all. They probably haven't even written 1 line of code yet. Also would you the only way it can possibly come to the PS3 this generation is at what is pretty much a direct Wii port. Otherwise if they developed it with both consoles in mind, they wouldn't finish before the next generation started. So yeah I would much rather an original PS3 developed game than pretty much a direct port, from the viewpoint of a user with both consoles.
