Exercise is good. The more you play the game, the less tired you'll get. And what better motivator to get exercise than bloody dismemberment?

Well, I can think of one, but for some reason they don't make that kind of game for console.

I played WSR's sword fighting and I didn't get tired at all. If the game is good i don't think ppl would get tired from swinging the wiimote, but i do get bored of button mashing and seeing the same 3 hit combo.

The only time motion controls were used for sword fighting in the first game was finishing moves, all that was needed was a single swipe across the screen which Motion+ brings no benefit to at all.  The tilt for the upper/lower stance doesn't benefit from Motion+ and the wrestling moves wouldn't either.

 

If the game can support classic controller then it really shows just how pointless Motion+ would be.

Yeah, I think a lot of us were hoping that the game design would evolve past button-mashing punctuated by gestures. It made sense with the limited fidelity of the accelerometer, but when the big gameplay advancement is being able to press a button to switch to canned attack moves with two swords, it's a little disappointing.

I'm still on-board for Travis shenanigans and Suda-brand insanity, but this is a missed opportunity to do something new. It's clear that the goal was to refine all the shortcomings of the first game and not to push any new boundaries.

Red Steel 2 is still looking quite promising.

This game is gonna be dope.

As far as the classic controller, why would I want to use a last gen controller?



Cant wait for no more heroes 2, this game is going to be insane.
Good that they have a other control scheme, but i personally loved the wrestling moves in the first one.
