The loading screens are just inexcusable, though. The game has a 4GB install!

It's been loading just now for 15 minutes, no joke. And it's STILL loading.

Alright, I have found out how I'm going to replay the game! I hate the idea of trying to go through the game and making choices based on what I want to see, instead of making decisions based on your personality, so my initial idea for the perfect replay was to watch someone else have their first playthrough (which I'll still do), but that doesn't offer a lot of replayability for me. So here's what I'm going to do:

I'll come up with a few characteristics for all the characters, and then try to roleplay accordingly! My first playthrough will have been me roleplaying as, well, me

Can anyone come up with some good suggestions? Give me a character and some characteristics (like: Ethan is egocentric, a control freak, etc. or Norman is a corrupt FBI agent, a junkie (and loving it) etc.) so I can try to make up something interesting

Are you having a black screen and that is it?

If so then you need to turn off your PS3 entirely and restart. It is a glitch. I had one on a specific chapter in the game, when I restarted it worked perfectly. and you can not be on PSN if you don't accept the patch.

Ergh.

So there was that 15 minute load time, I just quit in the middle, re-opened, it was fine. 1-2 minute load. Then, I got to the Park level. After the boomerang, Ethan just refused to move. I tried quitting to the menu twice. Nothing. But I restarted the game, and it worked again. So far, so good. But I REALLY hope the whole game isn't so buggy.

Yeah i heard about some bugs/glitches in game aswell, especially when it comes to save/loading. But the game is still nice to play right? Nothing really bad happening to you guys?

So how many here have finished the game alrdy? can any1 here tell me the average time to beat this game.

I'm on my 2nd playthrough (just played as Madison for the first time), and I have never experienced anything near what you are experiencing. So the game can be bug free
