Seemed to do alright. What is it, 330k or so for a port? I don't think it's sales look that bad.

Psp? Blasphemy! The psp would suddenly combust and go up in flames trying to handle this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgtPvPvjCMY. Nah,but in all seriousness I would be kinda afraid they would have to "downgrade" a tiny bit if it was for psp.Even now I really dont see it selling alot. Its a game that required a bit of patience and a love for wacky dialogue.(Do you remember the day,the day were the rain turn to snow?) |
you do realize PSP is more powerfull than Dreamcast and that it can handle any dreamcast game?

Well,Dont take it seriously,I was joking a bit.But...no I dont think it is...the only reason its able to do as much as it can its cuz its rendering to a smaller screen.Show me it can natively render at 640x480 with anti-aliasing and texture filtering.Anyways from what I understand the psp out puts a similar polygon count to the dreamcast, around 60,000-80,000 triagles on screen( never been able to find anything solid info though) anf the dc can output around 58,000-60,000 triangles per frame at 60 fps(which is aruond 3mpps) with lighting, and texturing(and anit alaiasing.).Dc problem is it lack of memory, that was mentioned a few times in the past.Iam not a techie but these are the commen sense things Ive read about both so I might be wrong.
EDIT:Also realize what helps the psp is the modern artistic view in games that the dreamcast lacked back in its day.So it isnt so much tech prowess more than it is art style.

That sounds like more than a fair price for a game that was only ever released on Dreamcast (the origional Shenmue of course)
I suspect there would be lots of Shenmue enthusiasts that would pay even more............. myself included.

He speaks the truth!

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

but but.. i love shenmue and doesn't own a 360... what about me?

What is a man?
I disapprove and demand the Shenume complete experience with shenume ,2 and final chapter.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
