Forums - Sony - SEGA - Yakuza 3 localization STILL A POSSIBILITY

Yakuza 3's "possibility for localizing does, in fact, still exist."

PS3 Attitude writers:

"SEGA gave out huge news today by confirming that the possibility of the game being localized is actually very real.

Following up on the previous story that the game's future is very much up in the air, Aaron Webber, Assistant Community Manager for SEGA of America, commented on the PS blog stating:

'Yakuza 3 is not cancelled – and the possibility for localizing it does, in fact, still exist.

The original news story that went around about Yakuza 3 being declined for the US was false, and localizing the game still remains a big point of discussion for many people here at SEGA'

Check the site for the full story and quote where Aaron admits it's "far from an announcement" but that that the possibility does of an English port still exists.

Note: this article is not a duplicate from the old story. This is new information regarding the possibility of Yakuza 3 receiving a localisation port.

Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

Possibly an announcement in TGS? International version? Sega will receive my ultimate respects if they would just get out of their asses and bring this overseas.

I think the biggest issue with yakuza 1 and 2s low sales were that sega didn't advertise the damn games and that they were so slow on their ass with localization. I mean people loose interest when they have to wait two years for a game that's already out elsewhere.

Well I guess Sega is never bringing over Kenzan.

They should license it out to another company a big buget Samurai game I'm sure there would some publishers interested.

I wish Yakuza 3 and Kenzan were released on 360 Microsoft at least would very likely pay for to get them translated.

SCEA and Sega USA have sucked for a very long time when it comes to releasing games that should so obviously be released.

Not as much as SCEE, uselessness since 1994.

Yakuza is bacically a poor man' version of GTA
