The thing of it is, it's not corrupt. I think when you grade something of this magnitude, you're stating that the game THOROUGHLY entertained and impressed you.It's only corrupt if you did this while...

A. Having actually not played the game

B. Judged it biasedly (good or bad)

C. Were payed to say it.

Since we have no proof of any of that, we can't call it corrupt, but that we don't agree with it.

I still think people are taking this way too seriously but I guess that's just me. This is also ONE rview, ONE. Every reviewer won't give it this score...

I used the wrong word. I'm just stressing concerns over the fact that we might see a 12/10 review at some point, and then the reviewing system will become absolutely broken afterwards.

 

I always believed that reviewers should ditch the scoring system and just use words to express their thoughts about the game (detailed opinion, then summarize it in a paragraph for people with low attention spans). Not to mention also scores are fuel to the fanboy flames.

I'm not trying to be a prick about this, but I do feel people let this stuff consume them way too much...

Fair enough. Guess I should let it go. What was bothering me was the fact that 360 fanboys are using it as an excuse to kill off the reviewers credibility. But now that I think of it, not even a 10/10 would please them.

As I've learned the hard way, everyone can't always be pleased.

you know what's awesome?  If Uncharted2 went multiplat tomorrow, it would suddenly completely lose relevance.

That's the beauty of exclusives: They're one of the factors that define a console.

Those bastards at Metacritic have the score at a measly 100%. Can't they do basic math at that joke of a website?? Uncharted 2 has the chance to be the first AAAA game, and those Metacritic fools are going to ruin it!

Yup, just like we said it would be. Funny, reminds me of the Killzone 2 days, when people doubted that too. The PS3 is REALLY starting to prove itself, THAT'S what matters!

I'm still shocked that its Uncharted 2 that will be PS3's GOTY not Killzone 2

but that shock only proves how many good games there are on the PS3

now its R&C:ACIT turn next!
