Sony lost all hope of winning this gen when they let Microsoft drop their price and did nothing in return last year. We will probably see another 30 something weeks of Sony winning again before something crazy happens again. The article should of talked about the "PS2 fans who are waiting", to go along with the rest of the pep talk.

actually if i wanna buy a blueray player to watch HD movies now id get the 150 dollar magnavox blue ray player or one of the other blue ray players that are under 200 dollars. that is hwat is hurting the sales of the ps3 cause it is NOT the cheapest blue ray player. its infact the most expensive blue ray player on the market.

the media has always praised sony even before the ps3 phat came out. remember all the wii is doomed articles and how the ps3 was gonna sell like ps2. even at a 600 dollar price tag. well this little boost will last only as long until the wii drops its price in a few weeks then back to slow sales once again for the ps3.
