LOL, guess I got you on a bad day

course not, I'm not even gonna bother with this one because it has no Wiispeak, voice chat has become so standard these days that it's ridiculous to not have it, most of it are also p2p instead of having actual servers so I can totally understand that part too. best online service is PC btw, I spend most of my online time on that, XBL is a piece of shit compared to that and it costs nothing. not taste, habit, it's a better control, you don't have to like it, much like how I think DA is ass no matter how good I am with it because mouse+keyboard is always king with wiimote second, dual analog is simply inferior once you are used to the wiimote, I don't know where your brother's personal skill is with the wiimote but the learning curve is hell of a lot shorter than dual analog comparing to the original Halo where I learned to use that initially, and that game has fucking aim assist. |
Perhaps I'm just used to the dual analog since I've used it for so long. I don't play any PC games because I can't use the keyboard and mouse either. I've never thought XBL was worth the cost either since the only portion I care for is online gaming. I have no use for the extras and I can get online gaming free on PSN. I'll presume you're right on the PC having the best online because I remember crazy lagfests on PSN when I still played cod4.
However, with the amount of cheating people complain about on consoles, I'd imagine the online component on PC to be lot worse. That kinda takes the fun away from competitive multiplayer. On ps3 cod4, people hide outside the map, fly in the air and do all sorts of crazy stunts now. I would think some of these must've been long running on the PC version.
"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)
"WAR is a racket. It always has been.
It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

on freeware games, yes the cheating is bad on PC, it's not as bad on more established games since the anti cheating options are a lot better, I hardly see cheaters these days actually. I'm used to dual analog too, but I have things to compare it to, and it does not fair well vs other options when you are talking about shooter games, I'm a gamer first with 0 brand loyalty, if there is a better option, I will always prefer the better.

I saw none of this. At the 6:10 mark is barely a quarter circle and look how many shots it took to kill it and how many blaster marks are on the floor/walls from missing, at the 9:00 mark you aren't even aiming at the thing most of the time, the ASE doesn't need a direct aim to work but if that was a gun most of your shots would be missing since you was facing away from the target.
To properly circle strafe (against a moving target especially) you need use a lock on to partly auto-target. If someone was to set really tight dead zones the lock on could be used as an almost auto-aim too. That isn't advanced controls.
Circle strafing is just one movement of many that is hindered by Wii controls anyway. |
I actually only missed 1 shot initially before going into the motion, rest were there because it was already dead so the motion ended, I never missed, there was also a wall next to me, people do what you describe online all the time btw. sigh, fine,
goto the 5:00 mark, now STFU pls.

Good news, and bad ones to. The splitscreen part IMO is not so important but no WiiSpeak support... that is plain absurd...
Vote the Mayor for Mayor!
Despite all the whining about what is in this game and what is not, it will sell more than WAW Wii (1.24 mil)
So if you arent buying it, cool. This game will make a decent return for Activision.
I wish there was a game that let you chose Key&Mouse, DA & Wiimote+Nun. Then we could see who and with what controller is the best. Thats would be a great online game. Wiimote team vs. DA team. lol

He never said it was impossible. Just not as easy. That was pretty pathetic for circle strafing.
