course not, I'm not even gonna bother with this one because it has no Wiispeak, voice chat has become so standard these days that it's ridiculous to not have it, most of it are also p2p instead of having actual servers so I can totally understand that part too. best online service is PC btw, I spend most of my online time on that, XBL is a piece of shit compared to that and it costs nothing. not taste, habit, it's a better control, you don't have to like it, much like how I think DA is ass no matter how good I am with it because mouse+keyboard is always king with wiimote second, dual analog is simply inferior once you are used to the wiimote, I don't know where your brother's personal skill is with the wiimote but the learning curve is hell of a lot shorter than dual analog comparing to the original Halo where I learned to use that initially, and that game has fucking aim assist. |
Perhaps I'm just used to the dual analog since I've used it for so long. I don't play any PC games because I can't use the keyboard and mouse either. I've never thought XBL was worth the cost either since the only portion I care for is online gaming. I have no use for the extras and I can get online gaming free on PSN. I'll presume you're right on the PC having the best online because I remember crazy lagfests on PSN when I still played cod4.
However, with the amount of cheating people complain about on consoles, I'd imagine the online component on PC to be lot worse. That kinda takes the fun away from competitive multiplayer. On ps3 cod4, people hide outside the map, fly in the air and do all sorts of crazy stunts now. I would think some of these must've been long running on the PC version.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler
