I think Activision once mentioned that they would increase the price by 10$, but I think they said it for CoD, but I'm not too sure.
I just remember reading somthing like that.

it makes sense GH5 on Wii now is pretty much the same game as the others (apart form the gfx). before you would miss out on downloadable content etc..
In Canada most Wii games are $50 or less. A few can go over, RB:B is $60 & GH is $70. It's all about supply & demand though, & I still feel GH will outsell RB:B.

In this thread we see Americans who already pay the least for just about everything complain about paying an extra $10 for some games.

hmm, tough call, I was planing on getting GH:WT and GH 5 standalone, I might do the opposite.

Yeah, I was planning on doing the same thing but GH:WT with instruments is $170 @ EB Games :(

It's a principal matter more than just being cheap. $50 day one for a game is no problem to me but when you give more, they take more, and it's a poor cycle to fall into. If ALL games went to $60 or $70 on release, then I vote to buy when it's $50 at the most. Where are you from and what are you paying? It's it because of an exchange rate or is it just over-pricing where you are?
Consoles owned: NES, N64, PS1, GC, PS2, Wii.
