It's a principal matter more than just being cheap.  $50 day one for a game is no problem to me but when you give more, they take more, and it's a poor cycle to fall into.  If ALL games went to $60 or $70 on release, then I vote to buy when it's $50 at the most.  Where are you from and what are you paying?  It's it because of an exchange rate or is it just over-pricing where you are?
