Seems to me you're holding Wii to a different standard or you just HOPE a price cut won't help the Wii. Again, I bring up the PS2 price cut a couple months back. Wasn't it "cheap enough" at $129? And yet, didn't we still see a boost post price cut?
I agree with you that it's better for Nintendo to do new colors (and bundles) as opposed to price cuts though - but only because of value perception, not because it would be magically ineffective simply because it's Wii.
