I never liked Rock Band guitars, they don't click like Guitar Hero guitars.
eh, i want LEGO: Rock Band. Its cooler.

its because the media likes it, when the media likes something society will jump on it

@Axumblade
Oh your not kidding,GH5 Has the most boring songs on ANY GH,Somehow Neversoft though new = good.
Thats why The Beatles RockBand is gonna show them wrong.
It's because forty five years ago they were the biggest band in the world and kids love this kind of music.

Simply because if you add all the songs from RB1 + RB 2 + GH3, GH:WT and GH5 + ALL THE DLC combined there are about 20 songs I really like.
In the beatles rockband there are 35 great songs.
Instant buy.

The beatles is arguably the best band ever. Tons of fans.
Too many a game with all their songs in Rock Band / Guitar Hero format is heaven.
It replaces the "career" mode with a "story" mode that basically follows the Beatles from their humble days playing small clubs in the early 60's to major highlights of their careers like their first major show in the States at Shea Stadium, and the game also allows up to 3 mics so that you can sing the vocal harmony parts that are staples of just about every major hit by the Beatles.
So as far as those 2 things go, that's how it "recreates" the Beatles' experience so to speak.
Oh... and as for why people are making such a big deal about the game... did I mention that it stars THE FRIGGIN' BEATLES?!?
The two band-centric GH games, Aerosmith and Metallica, can't hold a candle to the Beatles, and the game is geared to a much more broader audience that the band has influenced for more than a generation.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
Everyone in my family loves The Beatles so I can get them all playing this game and I know they will love it. There is no way I could of done that with any other RB/GH game.
I bought the Limited Edition as you can't get the RB2 drums in the UK. It cost £150 when pre-ordering which isn't too bad compared to the £179 they are charging now.
I just hope more RB games come out that have 50 & 60's rock 'n' roll songs in them.

I don't know why other people like it, but what I do know it's that it's because it has the best songlist in a music game I can ever find. Period
Even though I don't like ALL of the 45 songs, it's a songlist that I know trumps any other offered in any GH or RB to date, and even probably combined. The feeling of playing Here Comes The Sun, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Good Morning Good Morning, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and so on, can't ever be touched by any other music game.
The faithful recreation is a plus, but for me, the main draw is that it's a game featuring songs of the best band in history, and a lot of them. That's why I think it's one of the best things ever to come up...and why it sucks that I can play it
