I told you guys that Ken Kutaragi was the heart and soul of the Playstation. Without his ideas Sony will lose focus and show their true side to you. Kutaragi was always about performance, creativity and the games. Sony doesn't give a damn about any of those things as long as it pushed their formats. Kutaragi was on thin ice with Sony before the Playstation was created and he always was on thin ice with them after he saved their dwindling sales with the Playstation. They have no loyalty, but rather capitalize on what is loyal to them alone.

I suppose it'd be fun to read some of his comments again... I did enjoy being told to work more hours if I wanted a PS3. I wonder how that would go down in this economic climate?

The Slim will not have long term momentum. The increase will happen now, slow down and then during the holidays it will continue. It will end with the coming of January again. It's value will be determined by the 2010 lineup. Whats left of 2009 will be determined by the sales of the console itself. Uncharted 2 is all they have left. In other words it will sell in short bursts year after year. Hot games like GT5 will keep it going strong in those short bursts.

I want Kutaragi back as well. I don't want him just on stage, but being the moral arm of Sony. You guys haven't yet seen the darkside of Sony yet.

You do realize Kuturagi was the one who over-enginnered PS3 in the first place and Kaz is the one who has been trying to fix his mistakes since he stepped down?
