Second for me. It has FF XIII, 'nuff said. But the Wii has more games for me (not that I'll be able to get them all, lolz)...

-Tales of Graces (I'd put it over FF XIII myself...but that shouldn't come as a surprise.)
-Arc Rise Fantasia
-Fragile
-Monado (if they get to localizing it)
-SMG2
-MH3
-No More Heroes 2 (plan to get this with NMH1)
-Shiren the Wanderer 3
-Zelda Wii (maybe)
-Cosmic Walker (only if it turns out to be the game I'm thinking/hoping it could turn out to be)

I'm afraid this thread's just gonna be a big list war though...

I agree with Soriku, just add Metroid: Other M

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

And V.G. + WKC. Ps3 have the best line up 2010.

the best RPG's are coming 2013 !!!! oh my god, this is perfect for RPG-GAMER = ) Ni No Kuni - 25 january, Time and Eternity, tales of xillia (PS3) and the maybe best game ever: metal gear solid ground zero

I think the PS3 and the Xbox have good line ups, but the PC has the best one 2010. :D

HA.

God of War III 100% Meta >>> Halo Reach 24%

The Last Guardian 100% >>> Alan Wake 43%

Heavy Rain 99% >>> Fable III 18%

See, I can make up numbers, too.

I quite liked you until this post.

How DARE you insult Fable to such a degree.

I was being ridiculous, like Slimebeast, but one-upping him. Of course Fable III won't get 18%.

It'll be at least 25%.

Please don't hate me ;_;

I feel...such anger.

Does it turn you on?

Killzone 2 took 4 years or so to make, I doubt there's a killzone 3 till at least 2011. Good list anyways.

There could also be LA Noire and Twisted Metal PS3 possibly. Oh and WHite Knight Chronicles

No it doesn't. The best lineup for 2010 is on the X360.

Alan Wake
Fable III
Halo: Reach

Nothing can touch that combo of pure gold.

The best lineup for 2010 is on the PS3.

Heavy Rain
God of War III
The Last Guardian

Nothing can touch that combo of pure gold.

See, you can do it for any console.

Heavy Rain is from a genre so niche it is ridiculous.  It's appeal is EXTREMELY limited.  Don't get me wrong, I'll be there day one.  But I'll be about the only one lol.

The Last Guardian has exactly the same problem.

God of War 3 will be stunning, but again, only around 3 million people will ever know this.  The lowest selling game in Slimebeasts list will probably sell that.

Does those games not selling as well make them less fun for you?  Do you really need to know that there are millions of others that are playing the game at the same time as you before you enjoy it?  Do you think that the fact that Fable 2 sold more than SotC comes even close to being evidence that it is better?

Why people bring sales into a discussion about general game quality I'll never understand.  Those three 360 games could stand on their own just from quality, you don't need to make excuses for them.

But a game being Niche DOES have an effect on it's perceived quality, if it's scope to be enjoyed by people is limited.

But so we're clear, Fable 2 is better.

Fable will get a good review and sales, but we all know why.

That being said, Fable 2 was god aweful horrible.

Niche games aren't niche because most people tried them and think they suck, they're niche because they're different and most would rather just not give them a chance and stick to the genres they already know and love.

Putting a Niche title below a mainstream title is as ridiculous as saying that Wii Fit is better than Fable 2 because it has more widespread appeal.
