*Someone may link to this thread and say people hyped 3D Dot Game Heroes, blah blah blah. I dont care. I just love everything about this game. I am being 100% genuine when I say this.*

This game has hit me like a wave. I have become absolutely obsessed with it since it was first revealed and now I am eagerly anticipating it's Asian release, which hopefully at least has English subs.

This game's style is absolutely amazing. It seems so old school but at the same time feels so incredibly fresh. It's action RPG style looks to be fun and I can't wait to see it in motion, hopefully at this years TGS.

I have been searching the internet for at least 3+ hours tonight just trying to find anything I can on this title. I found that this game not only has incredible music, but the game's head of promotion is the main guy from the old NES game Spelunker!

This title has been released on Japan's PSN if I am not mistaken so it makes sense that he is in the JPN release of Dot Game Heroes.

Now what gets me thinking that this title may actually see a US release is this, which I found on N4G today.

Supposedly Spelunker is going to see a release on the US PSN store!

I am really psyched for 3D Dot Game Heroes.

Unique different game from the same company that made Demon's Souls. And is a Ps3 exclusive!

The sperlunker doesn't hold my interest too much, but it sure interest the people that is supposedly excited about NSMBW, since it offers similar gameplay but triumphs over it because has 6player ONLINE co-op, HD1080p graphics and is cheaper (unless they only excited for NSMBW because they are nintendo fanboys)

Well, I grew up on Spelunker. I actually still own the game and on GAF I read how people thought nobody would care since people in the US really do not own the game at all. That makes me feel kind of special to be honest.

The game was a bit difficult when I was younger, but the music easily got stuck in my head and I love it!

I will be updating this thread and if the game gets a US release I hope I get to make the official thread.

I think this game has me more psyched that any game has this gen. It actually makes me happy. From Software has come a long way in gaining my utmost respect since I fell in love with Armored Core a few years back. Huge props to these guys.

why is the video you posted is compeletely another game? im confused.
im not hyped, but its an RPG. i WILL buy it. but will i like it? does it have some feature that is awesome ? (are you sure its 6 players coop?) idk

I posted it because it is Spelunker!

He is the head of promotion for 3D Dot Game Heroes, so anything related to him can help when it comes to people possibly getting into 3D Dot game Heroes, since from what I know, he is going to end being a playable character.

Just because the thread is about 3D Dot Game Heroes doesn't mean I can't branch it out and show Spelunker a little love too.

Indeed from software has my respect also.

And I agree that some people might get confused about this thread, since you talk about two games, post pics and videos of the two without separating them well enough.

Some people won't understand that Spelunker=/=3dot heroes.

well i know Spelunker, but i don't know anything about 3D Dot hero except that it is made by From Software.

I'm not! Dots should forever be doomed to 2D! :P

Quite looking forward to it. Love the unique aesthetic and story. I know Naz is hyped for it as well.
