360- Duh.

Wii- Not certain, but probably. In America it will, definitely. In Japan it will, definitely. In Others...Well, ioi said around 105k-110k for PS3 in America that week. Others has always been bigger. 120k perhaps? Even at 100k, it would be safely above the Wii.

So, yes to both questions.

America: PS3 > 360 > Wii
Others: PS3 > Wii > 360
Japan: PS3 > Wii > 360

WW: PS3 > Wii > 360

Oh, please. The PS3 sold the same amount as the Wii in America when the Slim had been released early in a couple of stores. It'll cross 100k in NA alone on the week of the 5th. Japan are suckers for hardware redesigns, especially when accompanied by price cuts. And it doesn't take much to go above the Wii in Japan. Europe will be closest, but again, the PS3 will edge out the Wii by around 15-20k, I think. Should lead the Wii by around 70-80k worldwide next week.

By the second week, it might well be below the Wii, but it will be above the 360.

EDIT: I'll be bold and make a prediction for the PS3.

America- 105k-110k

Others- 115k-120k

Japan- 40k-45k

For a grand total of 260k-275k.

Look at the most recent sales chart and see just how far ahead of the HD consoles the Wii currently is.

No i think Wii will still rule this holiday. I think that 360 could almost outsell the ps3.

The question isn't about this holiday! It's about the week ending 5th September!

It's almost a given it will. I won't be surprised to see Wii dipping below 175k and PS3 selling up to 350k - so it could actually double Wii sales. X360 will sell around 150k I assume.

yes, for the week of 5th September,

Playstation 3 will sell 210,00 units,

Wii will sell 170,000 units

360 will sell 170, 000 units

it will do it easily,it might even outsell them for some weeks after that

i predict that the ps3 will sell about 200,000 xbox will sell bout the same seeing a price drop in teh elite. and the wii will keep chugging along at 175000 to 200000. then after that the ps3 nd xbox360 will drop back down to where they were before.

I really really doubt the XBox will be ahead of the Wii worldwide for the week...
