Oh, please. The PS3 sold the same amount as the Wii in America when the Slim had been released early in a couple of stores. It'll cross 100k in NA alone on the week of the 5th. Japan are suckers for hardware redesigns, especially when accompanied by price cuts. And it doesn't take much to go above the Wii in Japan. Europe will be closest, but again, the PS3 will edge out the Wii by around 15-20k, I think. Should lead the Wii by around 70-80k worldwide next week.
By the second week, it might well be below the Wii, but it will be above the 360.
EDIT: I'll be bold and make a prediction for the PS3.
America- 105k-110k
Others- 115k-120k
Japan- 40k-45k
For a grand total of 260k-275k.
EDIT 2: I think some people in this thread need a reality check, particularly some of the Wii fans. Here's a handy link:
Look at the most recent sales chart and see just how far ahead of the HD consoles the Wii currently is.
