So they estimated 100k just out of thin air, or they check some retailers or counted ppl in Qs outside the shops? i mean is it based on some figures or it is on their hunch only..

its a respected site which has been accurate 90% of the time in the past & yeah they do survey shops.....its not "out of thin air"

With all due respect, what software is going to push the PS3 in Japan to those numbers? People need a reason to buy a system, son. The japanese are, for the most part, married to their portable consoles.

I'd wait until FF13 Launches for there to be such a desire for the PS3

ps3 launch was 86k

it hit 60k this year wen the 160gh FF bundle came out and 40k for a few weeks wen re5 came out

those where all with much bigger price tags so over 80k is likely to happen easily

Good point, but may be we will see some old software getting some solid boast... WKC, Kenzan 3, DMC4, Demon Souls or even MGS4(which i doubt but still possible) etc, 

i think there r now quite a few games for japanese taste n some of them r available for reduced price also.. will be interesting to see the software chart if PS3 break 100k.
