Let me put it this way, when PSP-3000 launched in Japan last year, there was no price-cut or sell-outs , and yet it managed to sell 170,000 or so units in a few days.
100,000 for PS3 Slim is definitely possible.
100k Slim in one week in Japan... It was about 2.1k last week and 2.7k the week before and you think it would make now 33-50 times more than that. I don't see it happen.

yeah it would be really hard to get 100k except I think 50K-60K is possible...

It did around 70k in japan

PS3 did 70K when MGS4 released
it went up from 10K to 70K
increase of 700% (I think)
