another one bites the dust...

Wii Fit always had a 2008 date. It was pushed forward in Japan though.

Thanks for that intelligent, constructive, and enlightening comment that had no hint of trolling, ignorance, or flamebait in it at all.

I know what's changed in Pokemon. I wrote a complete (minus online) Pokemon Engine in C++. And I don't think it was changed enough to even put a new game on the shelves.

...

OK, you win. But I don't have Metroid, Mario or Smash Bros. in front of me that I can play, and the release dates keep slipping or at least being 'zoomed in' further away (i.e. "this year" -> "Q1 next year" -> "June next year" -> "20th Sept next year" -> "2nd March two years away". Today's "AW dated for Q1 2007" and this week's SSBB delay for example.

Ubuntu. Linux for human beings.

If you are interested in trying Ubuntu or Linux in general, PM me and I will answer your questions and help you install it if you wish.

I'm not disagreeing with that. I would love to have those games in front of me right now as well. I just think your expectations were too high. Nintendo has always been unreliable for release dates, but that's what allows them to release games with the kind of perfection and polish that has made them famous. If you are really running out of games to play I suggest looking at a few of the 3rd party DS games. There are some impressively good games on it. Sonic Rush for example feels a lot like classic 2D sonic.  As well as Phoenix Wright of course.

Also, if you like the style of Nintendo first party games some games to keep an eye on for the Wii this year are Zack and Wiki, NiGHTS, Trauma Center (and New Blood, the sequel), and Rayman Raving Rabbids 2.

PS3 fanboys are never dissapointed because they fool themselves into thinking they've got the best thing ever made no matter what happens.

Hmm... you are funny G... I have a comfort to choose between platforms. I can buy a Wii  anytime. I would fool myself if I get one. It simply doesn't appeal to me. I could buy even you with your favourit slippers if I want to. You are just a bitter N-fan, nothing more. Some 14 yo kid who hide like a rat behind new pic and nickname. Why bother? This site accept you. Coward.

As a Wii owner/ Ds owner I dont feel let down by Nintendo.

I am WEEzY. You can suck my Nintendo loving BALLS!

Well, I would prefer the game to get delayed so that they could make it better, and not just rush make the game crappy, and then REALLY LET YOU DOWN

I trust release dates like I trust orcs: only when they have a knife in their back.

You should rent a game and see if you like it. Try Eledees or whatever it's called over there. Or Resident Evil 4 or Super Swing Golf.
