Yea, or the PS3 Slim could of had a bigger boost  and stolen more sales of it wasn't for the 360 Price Cut

What does the Wii have that can top a redesign, 10,000 Yen price cut and FF13? (ToV and Tekken 6 are bonuses). WSR is gone, Punchout is gone, Monster Hunter is gone. Barring Dragon Quest X using a time machine and releasing this year, I don't see how the Wii could beat the PS3 in Japan.

Exactly. Soon, we'll be able to see if Wii numbers were affected by the boost in HD sales. I'm going to say they weren't.

So if the 360 is doing better than the Wii this year, the PS3 is doing better than the 360 this week.

The problem is that we don't know anything about the amount of stores that sold the Slim early. If more than half of them did it, mostly anyone who wanted to buy it on the first days, had the chance to get one, so what we are seeing is the actual launch week, and the next weeks might show stagnation.

I think after 4-5 weeks the PS3 Slim will outsell the 360 in the states each month by about 5-10% (so my suicidal comment was over-exaggerated)

there's no point even bothering to argue with such a person.....because whatever you say may seem insignificant to them

oh if they mean Japan, its likely.....especially as FF13 + GT5 is 10 times bigger than wii's whole holiday lineup combined

people seem to worry more about sales than having great games to play and look forward to.
