If you have the 4 usb port / memory card model, and it's 80gb, then you have emulated PS2 compatibility. That's the model I have, and while I haven't tested a lot of PS2 games with it, I haven't come across any BC problems so far.

Go here and select the 80GB option to see if your games are compatible

And definitely go grab Uncharted, altogether it's a fantastic game that has very few annoying quibbles.

lol jokes aside though you're pretty much on track with your games, just missing MGS4. Also, try and beat Resistance before you trade it because its worth a run-through. If you start playing online add your boys!!!

The only PS2 game that I personally had an issue with on that model was Black.  It would lock up at times.  I am playing through GoW on it right now without issue.

Ya know, thats not a bad idea. People who own PS3s who want a slim might be selling their used PS3's pretty cheaply....

COD4 is not even close to being one of the best games this gen IMO, one of the best FPS sure..
