It actualy has 6 characters. Ryudo, Elena, Millenia, Roan, Mareg and Tio. You never have all of them though.

well two of them r the same person for a very large portion of the game and one of them dies lol

Strange Journey is part of the main series, but it's not IV. Kind of like how "Shin Megami Tensei: If..." was the third main series game released, while Nocturne, which was the fourth, was numbered as III.

From the comments, I'd guess you really meant what "J"RPG's I'd want for the PS3, so I'll say this - I'd play these on any system they came out on:

1) Panzer Dragoon Saga (remake or II)
2) Skies of Arcadia II
3) Lunar III (They weren't really numbered I don't think but I thikn this would be three?)
4) Dark Wizard II

1 and 4 have about as much chance of happening as I do of sprouting wings and flying.

I think Atlus might be thinking of scrapping the SMT name all together. None of them ever really caught any acclaim other than Persona of late. They are most likely gonna ride the Persona bandwagon for a while guys so u might as well get used to it. I wouldn't expect any other significant entries into the SMT series other than Persona(other spin offs not included).
