Forums - Nintendo - NSMBrothers Wii Peripheral to boost 10M+ sales

Doesn't NSMB Wii support the Classic and GCN controllers? Cuz that's what I usually use to play Mario Kart Wii and Brawl... I'll be very disappointed if it doesn't, cuz I'm not buying 2 extra Wiimotes just to be able to play with 4 players.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

That Yoshi one is hot! :O

Damn you Nintendo and your peripherals. x(

...

And I'm the one that keeps buying them...

Don't forget that the manufacturing and shipping of vast amounts of unnecessary plastic is one of the primary causes of global warming, and that even the minimal electronics they use in these shells may leak mercury into the environment and will certainly not degrade for tens of thousands of years!

Not possible. NSMBW uses tilt controls in several places so it needs the motion controller.

I don't like how the 1 and 2 buttons are diagonal like /. It should be placed like \ that's how your thumb is placed on the controller and would be more comfortable. I wouldn't get one for that reason. The do look good otherwise though.

Yeah, i'm not sure about this one. The buttons are the wrong way around as a couple of people have already said and it's all for nothing if the d-pad and buttons don't feel good, vital for a platformer.

TILT CONTROLS?!?  That's bullshit!  It's a friggin' Mario game fer cryin out loud, not a WarioWare spinoff!  NSMB on the DS didn't utilize the touch screen for anything exept to activate a stored item, which could easily be mapped to a button.  There was no need for gimicky touch controls... I'm guessing this is Nintendo's way of forcing people to buy extra WiiMotes.  Well, you can count me out... ain't no way I'm spending an extra $80 just for 4 player Mario!

Who says you have to pay all that? You kind of can let those who want to play buy their own controllers.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

The design of the 1 & 2 buttons is terrible. The Yoshi shell is awesome but with such terrible design choice I'm going to have to pass.
