Unless that costs just a fraction of the Classic Controller, I don't see much of a point.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

People, this is not a controller. Its a SHELL!

Of course it won't cost the same as the classic controller, its a piece of plastic.
It should cost about 9$ maybe.

And if it comes bundled wiith the game, oh boy. Total madness.

$12.99, and if you read through that thread, these are third party peripherals on sale at Gamestop.

If Nintendo do any bundles, I'd expect it to be Wii bundled with NSMB Wii.

As far as I've read these are unconfirmed peripherals, saw this yesterday, haven't read the new posts yet.

I thought 3rd parties coudn't use other IP's :s

It's likely they've entered into some kind of deal with Nintendo, if this is confirmed as third party. The accessory company probably realises how big NSMB Wii could be, and wants a piece of the pie. And in turn, Nintendo will get part of the pie slice the 3rd party gets from sales of these shells.

 

I'm cooking a pie for my tea, in case anyone is wondering.
