Over way around now. Since Sony cut the ps3's price by 100$ too, you should see the same effect of what the 100$ price cut did to the 360.

Well I don't really know if a 299$ Xbox 360 Elite can stop a Ps3 Slim...

Of course if you untick the weekly sales box and look at the cumulative sales you will see the ps3 will most likely easily overtake the xbox360 on that graph before december 31, I'ld say around the start to middle November due to the slim factor.

I don't think there is any real fair comparison, 2008 was a very different year to what 2009 is. For one the recession had not hit consumers yet, also multiple AAA titles hit and price drops etc..

you first give 360 holiday 2005 where there where no competitors and give 360 holiday 2008 where it costs 199$ and pps3 this year 299$ this totally unfair

lol I f you add the wii graph by changing it to all beside the wii then 360 and ps3 lines look small....lol I hope ps3 does good and beats the 360 but i still don't think this is enough to beat the wii.
