^Maybe US + Japan is the best idea, because those numbers are most reliable, since we don't have a lot of European game data.

So US + Japanese console game sales (no handhelds).

 Seriously though, it's a tough thing to call, there's a lot of games with high selling potential.. I'm not even gonna attempt to call it but I think the best selling games may be a fairly even split through the 3 consoles.  Unless the "Casual" audience intervienes again.

If we exclude DS and PS2 I guess the following.

I am assuming you are doing NA only? Otherwise I will at least add WiiFit otherwise

Final* Word on Game Delays:

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

Halo 3 overall, but this holiday season it will be Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games or Super Mario Galaxy. I have my money on Galaxy though.

Wow.... some of you are shooting really low with COD4 hey? Although with all of those gauranteed high sellers, I suppose it's feasible that it would stray out fo the top 5.
Anyways, here is my list for top 10:
