And whats he going to do with that? Fire a ammo crate at him? Attempt to suck him in? If I remember correctly you can't even pick up the car with the gravity gun and MC weights more then that stripped out piece of trash. It also suffers from short range.

Considering Gordan has no helmet it's a easy oneshot kill with any weapon for the MC. Headshot from over 2 miles away with a Sniper, done. A quick flick of the Sentinel Beam to the forehead, done. Gordan is a pussy compared to any generation of Spartan. They are stronger, faster, smarter and more technologically advanced then Gordan, rendering him as little threat.

And enough with the Crowbar bullshit, a flick to the head from Master Chief would cause more damage.

You are just jealous that Gordon can destroy ANY Spartan with his trusty Crowbar. The GG is just overkill.

MC is a generic FPS character he shoots and thats it nothing unique there.

Besides i think this thread is about your "FAVE" rather then these characters fighting each other.

You obviously know nothing about Master Chief or the Spartans. Read a novel before posting like you know everything.

He has more backstory/history than Cloud & Sephiroth combined.

I don't give a damn about novels, im sure there great but this is by game standards and in-game MC is nothing, hes a character that shoots guns simple as that.

To be honest almost all FPS games are like that, only TimeShift and BioShock comes to mind that have powers where they could own alot at once.

MC has nothing unique about him that sets him apart from other FPS games, no powers of any sort in the games hes only an icon and thats it.

Yes because MetaCritic is useful for any games released after 6 months. You do realize that random review sites are still reviewing both HL and HL2 while facing them against games released this generation without knowing that 99% of all FPSs released the last two generations gameplay are based off HL, Doom, Unreal, and the legendary games. This is not about bias or sales at all. FPSs now a days are ALL based off the gameplay standards set by the above franchises, and all FPSs made today all share the same grandfather which is ID Software's Wolfenstein 3D.

So I say this, METACRITIC IS MORE OF A PR THING AND NOTHING TO BASE YOUR OPINIONS ON.

Also where the hell do you get your facts from? Half-Life sells well over 1 million copies a year and is over 11 million so far. HL2 has sold well over 8 million by now. The Orange Box on PC alone has sold over 6 million. And since HL2:Ep1 was released separately and in The Orange Box, it has to have sales over 7 million. Valve has stated many times that HL as a franchise has sold over 25 million, which if I remember this was back in 2007. If anything they are completely even in sales.

 

My vote: Freeman

Since that was Spartan 115, Linda, who would easily own Master Chief, John, Freeman would have issues with winning. But that is because Linda is FAST AS HECK.
