I'm glad I got a few opinions on the matter. I'm still going to do it, because I feel it's fine and doesn't take much out of the game, besides more of my free time. I will still do all the bulk work for EV/IVs because that's what irks me the most with the "real cheaters".

As long as a pokemon is legit like it has moves that it can learn, and stats that are legally obtainable I could care less about how they got it.

i never used a rare candy in my life, mainly because your pokemon end up with slightly less statistics than they should, and you don't get a sense of achivement from it.

This is how I look at it as well.  As long as the stats, moves, and ability are obtainable in game normally... I don't mind.  At that point they're just getting to the same goal faster.  It's when someone gives pokemon moves they shouldn't have or abilities they shouldn't have that I get upset.

In multiplayer that is.  In singleplayer, I couldn't care less what your pokemon can do.  If you have a Magicarp with 999 in all stats and godly attacks then more power to you.  As long as I never see it in a pokebattle with you that's fine.  I'm not about to tell someone how to play their singleplayer games.

Item replication is fine IMO, as long as that's all you're doing.

I personally draw the line at hacked IV's, and that's only if you're using them in competitive play. Everything else is fair game.

anything involving a cheating device.

I don't do competetive battling so I don't really care about that part.
