Odd...they didn't bring up motion controls like they always have before.

Come to think of it, I haven't heard motion controls being bashed for about three months now. I wonder why that might be?

Because MS and Sony introduced Motion Control, and now it's "cool"

Don't be silly, they're professional journalists, and always lead with an objetive viewpoint.

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

so where are the times when "hardcore" meaned getting ridiculously high score in tetris instead of killing realisticly looking people in gorefest games like Soldier of Fortune?

Retards.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

My favourite bit in the whole rant was the line that went something like this:

"Nintendo's tried this 'Blue Ocean' strategy, and now they are stuck out in the blue ocean all by themselves"

um.

That's exactly the aim and point of the blue ocean strategy, right?

I think maybe these guys don't understand something.

They don't understand a lot. This just adds more proof they are what TV Tropes calls the "Know Nothing Know It All".

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Ya know i try to stay out of these kind of fanboy battles. I cant ignore this shit.

GT is a fuking joke. I used to go to there site a lot but this sad stunt to get hits will be the last thing i will watch on that site.

Its people like that that brews hatred between Wii, PS3 and 360 fans. And its not needed at all. I have nothing against PS3 or 360 fans at all. There really is no reason for these kind of attacks.

These fuckers have insulted every single Wii owner alive. They also have so respect for the "casual" gamers.

Sony and Microsoft are like Stormtroopers, Nintendo is a badass jedi bringing balance to the force

Nintendo is the best videogames company ever!

Nintendo isn't going anywhere for a long time. Their "blue ocean" strategy ensured that they will have a huge userbase that will keep them riding high into the next generation, where by then, the Wii's successor will benefit by having all the Wii's features and will be just as powerful as the PS360 are now since the hardware will be much cheaper to manufacture, thus making the console more affordable.

If Nintendo wasn't doing the right thing, then neither Sony nor Microsoft would be shifting their focus to motion control technologies and more casual-friendly software starting next year.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Just a point, they aren't full. Certainly Sony will not get Sony, Insomniac, SCE Santa Monica, PD, Team ICO or any of their other big studios won't shift to the PSmote. M$ is certainly getting more behind Natal, but I think their focus will still be on the traditional games

The real measure is sales, and at the moment that is going well
